 ️1732 - The Theater Royal Covent Garden, London (modern-day Royal Opera House) is opened.

 ️1815 - Marshal Ney is executed near the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris.

 ️1825 - The first steam-powered ship 'Enterprise' reached Kolkata.

 ️1835 - The future U.S.  President James K.  Pollock became Speaker of the House.

 ️1856 - For the first time in the country, 'Hindu Widow' was officially married.

 ️1869 - American robber Jesse James commits his first bank robbery in Galatin Missouri.

 ️1877 - Inventor Thomas Alva Edison demonstrated the 'gramophone'.

 ️1888 - John Boyd Dunlop invented the air bicycle tyre.

 ️1889 - The first car in the present form in the world was made by a German scientist, Karl Friedrich Benz.  The speed of this vehicle was 12 kilometers per hour and petrol or alcohol was used as fuel.  Present-day buses are the complete form of that train.
